So I don't think some people get what I mean by discontinued, the "spotpass" feature in the game has been discontinued, which was pretty much the feature that it was known for. You can STILL use Swapnote, and it CAN be used for Streetpassing with "friends only" but that is it.

For those that are saying they can still use it, yes, I know this, I even was being shown in the video how to share notes (since I never used it) and that pretty much showed that even though the spotpass is discontinued, the application DOES still work. However, since I would only be doing so via online (why would I use this for streetpassing?) it pretty much makes the app completely useless for 90% of people (10% being those in big cities, which again, why would you swapnote with them if you can just talk to them while they are in front of you)

Okay, so Nintendo thinks they are smart and think that because some people aren't mature, they can just discontinue Swapnote to stop the problem.

Yeah, ok. Look at what happened with Microsoft and how that DRM thing they tried doing looked for them. I'm not getting an Xbox One for it now even IF they changed their minds... because they can pull THIS KIND OF CRAP!

I wasn't one to use Swapnote, but I know several people who did, and seeing this happen... lets just say... I can see exactly where they are coming from and it does NOT make me happy to see something like this happen. ESPECIALLY OVER SOMETHING SO STUPID.

NEWSFLASH NINTENDO, IT'S THE INTERNET! SOME PEOPLE MAKE FRIENDS ONLINE THAT THEY HAVE NEVER MET IN REAL LIFE BEFORE!

If the parents are SO upset about this, they need to take the time to use the DAMN PARENTAL CONTROLS, IT'S ON EVERY SYSTEM NOWADAYS FOR A REASON! THE REASON BEING FOR WHINEY PARENTS!

God, I never had to worry about freaking parental controls when I was a kid, and pretty much never cussed in school (like... literally was a goody two shoes)... AND I've seen rated R movies when I was a kid at the age of 10 with inappropriate stuff. I don't go around posting random penises on the internet though, that's just how some kids are. Those. Kids. Are. Brats. Nothing changing that.

and finally... Nintendo... if you know what's good for you... I'd HIGHLY suggest you stop being stupid and bring back Swapnote if you know what's good for you... if you think I'm mad... I didn't even use Swapnote... imagine how many people that HAD been using it feel right now...

So go ahead, keep those flood gates open if you want to be yelled at by your "fans"
