One of the things to understand when playing this game as opposed to the one that came before, Sonic Racing Transformed, is that the structure and design of tracks needed to be simpler in order to accommodate the newly introduced Team Race mechanics.
Still, in addition to keeping an eye on said mechanics, each of the tracks do have their own share of features and obstacles that can certainly cause disruption if one is not careful.
Dragging lava and slippery ice are a constant hurdle here, in addition to what looks like a lava rock giant trowing boulders!
