Summary:
Been watching latest season of Gun Gale, so thought would jump back in. First time played in about a year so very rusty, as can tell in first two rounds, constantly missing my skills. Did find it fitting final opponent was Pitohui, who’s also my fav SAO character.
Play Style: All enemies are tough as nails, and have huge hate boners. They also have stat allocations that are pretty much unobtainable and like to spam skills. As such, the ONLY priority to consider is defence, otherwise you’ll get OHK. For GM BOB, pumped Agility to maximum, with 12 points of defence given for each AGI point. Then same with Vitality that gives 8 points of Defence per VIT point, but also increases HP. Then allocated points to use the skills in the below Loadout section, before pumping rest of points into Luck, which gives 4 points of defence per LUC. Pumped of defence even more with accessories that give extra defence against Humanoids as that’s the only enemy you’ll face obviously. Reinforced Defence with HP boosting chips as well as humanoid defence, namely Max HP boost, continual HP regeneration and avoiding OHK moves as long as HP is over 10%. Defence is even further increased with Armor Form 4. This may seem like overkill, but when last played, I remember taking serious damage when that buff runs out. On the subject of defence, Healing Field and First Aid Kit 2 will help if do take damage and need a boost above passive HP Regen from acc. Anti-ailment 2 will help prevent paralysis etc. And as using a sword, Sword Barrier will block most damage anyway. Finally can move to offence. Horizontal Square will close the gap between you and the enemy, while also doing damage in a wide area, sometimes allowing to target multiple enemies. As it does damage multiple times, hopefully one of those will be a critical hit which will do enough damage to usually kill an enemy. It can also be used to move out of Graviton Shot, or move a bit quicker as you’ll be slow moving. Due to its its usefulness, have it loaded twice, version 3 and 4. Also have Azure Tempest, a quick range dealer that can do damage vertically, so maps that have crates etc, you can damage opponents above you. Blue Rose was an acceptable alternative when used to do GM BOB; it does less critical damage, but crits more often. Either way, keep your buffs up, and you can be pretty safe running around slashing things up. Over a year away from game and pretty much walked through GM version with this build.

(Main Weapon - Seriously OP, modded for critical damage. Weapon used for this had +26% Weapon Damage, Critical Damage +60%, Critical Rate +60% which meant it’s final stats were 3700 Base Power, 14.40% Critical Chance and 1600% Extra Critical Damage.)
