System Shock was the second game I streamed, over eight years ago. And, while the second is much better, it was still a wonderful experience to go through it. So when Night Dive launched a Kickstarter shortly after, I happily backed it. And I knew it would be a long time coming, but it was Night Dive, so I trusted them.

And they have (mostly) delivered. Still waiting on the physical, but we're here now, the 1.12 patch is up, the game is done. And it's high time I check it out. Right away, the game looks amazing. And the feel is there. It runs more smoothly, plays more smoothly, and I don't remember some elements (recycling items, vending machines). Whether they're new or eight years has eroded my memory makes no difference. I am glad to be playing this game again.

It's going to be a SLOW run. I am taking my time to enjoy as much as I can. This game's been a long time coming for me and I want to savor it. -- Watch live at   / the_nametag
