Why LZDoom ?
Simply because it supports multiple Xbox controllers, while GZDoom does not (but it is possible to set up 1 Xbox controller and 1 Playstation controller at the same time if you want to play in split-screen mode on GZDoom).
What is LZDoom ?
In short, it is a source port based on the old version of GZDoom 3.3.2 that brings some functions from the latest versions to be compatible with older PCs.
