Tails Adventure(s): Part 12: Storming the Battle Fortress (Final Bosses & Ending)
11After Tails invaded Coco Island and defeated its Doctor Fukurokov, the island revealed its true form as a massive flying Battle Fortress!
In order to reach this floating island, you need to give the Sea Fox the Rocket Boo(s)ter, which enables it to fly, turning it to the Air Fox! The drawback, however, is that most of your other Sea Fox weapons won't work in the air. Only the Vulcan Gun does.

At the very least, the Vulcan Gun can still be used to shoot at flying Kukkus, but the same time, this will be a rough flight as they were will A LOT of them to gun you down through two sections!

Eventually, Tails lands in the Battle Fortress. The final item you can find is here, and it's a Wrench. Tails can use it on certain devices in the Battle Fortress to change the direction of the fortress' conveyor belts, though if you're really good with spacing him through the tunnels these conveyor belts will be in, you won't really have to do this.
I realized that the game's completion rate will only increase if you take the items you picked up and bring them back to Tails' House. That's why I had the Teleport Device on him after getting that Wrench!
Much of this final fortress is about using the Remote Robot a few more times to find more blue switches. There's more force fields to deal with, this time, and some vents will release blue waves that are enough to force the Remote Robot back to Tails.
This area can be a bit of a maze, but once you've got a good hold on where you need to go, then you should be okay.

The next section after that maze is the final one in the game. Tails will first have to fight against Speedy, who now has more weapons to deal with you, with wide waves and energy balls all while zipping around the room.
You beat him here, and he's gone for good, but then...

You'll have to fight Speedy's father, and the leader of the Battle Kukku Empire: Great Battle Kukku the 15th!
GBK seems to love Tails' use of bombs to attack his army, because his fight has him use his own bombs against you! Sometimes he'll throw just one at you, and other times he'll stoop in the middle of the room to toss a whole wave around him.
Oh, and if you get too close to GBK, he will grab little Tails by the neck and throw him!
His bomb-throwing kinda sucks, though. As long as you just fly over him, he can't really reach you. Just keep dropping bombs on his head until he turns into one!
I decided on a more stylish way to finish him off!

With Great Battle Kukku's defeat, his Battle Fortress could not last any longer. It fell into the sea below, but Tails was able to escape its destruction on time.
The Battle Kukku Empire was no more, and Tails' Cocoa Island was able to return to peace. The credits show that he was now busy on making a brand new Remote Robot. One that was bigger and had a face of his likeness.
But... young Miles still had to work some kinks out with this machine...
Right at the end of the credits, you will see your completion rate based on all of the items and weapons you were able to find. I was able to get 100%!
