Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut is a re-release on the Gamecube of the Dreamcast game Sonic Adventure. They added a couple of features in this one, as far as I understand.
In this game you play as Sonic the Hedgehog, trying to stop the evil Dr. Robotnik, aka Eggman, from taking over the world, as usual. This time around, Eggman has enlisted the help of an aquatic monster named Chaos. This mysterious being has huge destructive power and must be stopped at all costs! Sonic and his friends must find the 7 Chaos Emeralds before Eggman does to ensure he doesn't get his hands on them, as they contain limitless power!
While playing this game you get to play as many different characters other than Sonic too, and they all have their own story. To get every piece of the puzzle you also need to play as Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big the Cat and E-102 Gamma. They must all do their part to stop Dr. Eggman and Chaos. But what exactly is Chaos and where & when did it come from? That is another mystery that must be solved!
