This is how to make some major $$$$$ (positive profit) in Crystalis (NES). Do the Shop Price Glitch. You'll see that the "Platinum Armor" is normally $2000. However, by selecting the "Bronze Armor" ($600) and then selecting the "Platinum Armor" and then pressing A as soon as you select the "Platinum Armor", the game will think the "Platinum Armor" is worth $600 - the same price as what the "Bronze Armor" is normally worth! ($600 X 4 = $2400). The "Platinum Shield" is also normally worth $1500, but you select a blank icon and you can get that for free. Now, sell all 4 slots of your "Platinum Armor" and "Platinum Shield". Just to clarify, the "Platinum Armor" sells for $1000 and the "Platinum Shield" sells for $750. ($1000 X 4 = $4000 and $750 X 4 = $3000). That's $7000 worth of armor right there. Now, subtract $7000 from $2400 (which is a $4600 positive profit, which is sweet). (Note: This will work with ANY item/armor/shield in the game).
