Some information on what went into this video:
Burntends got me in touch with Korimaru who got me in touch with Takenobu Mitsuyoshi. Since he is still a current employee at SEGA, I needed to work with the PR team at the Japanese branch to get this interview going. SamIAm generously agreed to be on the video call to help facilitate the conversation. He later translated and subtitled the entire interview. It then had to go through an approval process at SEGA, since Mitsuyoshi-san is still a current employee. Only very small things were changed at their request. Tiny things like typing "OutRun" instead of "Outrun." Unlike my usual videos, I had to ensure that any audio/visual element in this video could not cause any copyright conflicts with the company.

Mitsuyoshi-san was kind enough to digitize his job application demo tape for use in this video. He also asked me to throw in a link for the SEGA SOUND TEAM YouTube channel in which he does weekly live streams. They are in Japanese:
