It's easy to miss 😩 But — I just couldn't miss out on the Indie Bundle deal @RokokoMotion pushed recently, so yesterday I finally received my first very own motion capture suit, complete with hand tracking gloves too. It's too early to know, but honestly, I think this will probably be the importance equivalent to cameras for me to tell stories going forward. In both CG and live action filmmaking 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 are always the most important part of a story.
Now I can not only capture visuals of characters, but also the motions of characters. I feel so inspired and motivated knowing what's possible with these tools.
This video is my first time in the suit and my first test capture. It's also one of the most cringe improvs I've ever made hahah. 🥴

My journey into animation began brick by brick. As a child, my brothers and I spent countless hours crafting elaborate LEGO worlds and bringing them to life through stop-motion films captured on our dad's DV camcorder. This wasn't just playtime; it was the spark that ignited my passion for storytelling and the magic of animation.
Witnessing my older brother delve into the world of creative arts further fueled my ambitions. Inspired by his path, I took a leap of faith and pursued the same, even in the face of some uncertainty. Today, that childhood fascination has blossomed into a fulfilling career (or ongoing pursuit) in animation, where I continue to bring stories and characters to life, one frame at a time.
