TAKING DOWN DAVID | The Last Of Us Remastered Playthrough - Part 25
5Hey everybody! Welcome back to my The Last Of Us Remastered playthrough, Joel is awake and wondering where Ellie is and there are still a handful of hunters searching the town for him. I take a few out and for the first time ever they all start running away. I chase them and keep taking one out and they take off until eventually they try to get the jump on Joel and that was a big mistake. He takes them both on and drags them inside to get some information. After a little bit of time they realize Joel is not messing around and give him the information he wants but that doesn't stop him from ending them both. Joel heads off to find Ellie and we take control of her again seeing her escape from the cell she was in and fighting her way through the down trying to find a way out. After several close calls we end up in a restaurant that looks like the hunters had been using as a mess hall. When I try to leave out the front David shows up again and grabs Ellie. We are trapped sneaking around the restaurant while David searches for us. We work our way around behind him and get a few good stabs in. I repeat that a second time but for the third he gets smart and starts sneaking himself. It takes a bit longer but eventually I get the final jump on him and the game switches back to Joel as he arrives at the town. Hunters are everywhere but like always I manage to take them all out. When I make my way to the restaurant I see it is completely on fire. It switches back to Ellie laying on the ground beside David and of course he is not dead yet. Ellie tries to crawl over to his machete but he gets to get first giving he a swift kick in the ribs. She keeps going though and he throws her down and starts choking her but lucky the machete is still within reach and she stretches out to grab it and swings it at David knocking him over and seeing a very gruesome end for David. Joel bursts in the stop Ellie and holds her while she cries. It is a sad scene but at least we are finally done with taking down David. The game flashes to spring and Ellie is still shooken up. Hopefully though we are able to wrap this adventure up on a brighter note.
