BETRAYAL! | The Last Of Us Remastered Playthrough - Part 24
5Hey everybody! Welcome back to my The Last Of Us Remastered playthrough, David and Ellie are surrounded by infected while waiting for the medicine and things are getting intense. We hold them off the best we can but decide it was time to move through the building we are in and hopefully find a safe place. While running through a walkway collapses and separates Ellie from David and of course there are tons of clickers where I fell. I finally decide it is time to use the bow properly and I am actually alright with it and take out all the clickers very quietly. Eventually I get back up and when a clicker shows up in front of me David shows up to save the day. We get further through the building but the infected never seem to stop. We hit a dead end where the infected continue to pour in but we do pretty well holding them off. Even a bloater falls in through the ceiling but it is no match for my molotov's! With everything dealt with we head back to check on the deer but we find out that David isn't just some stranger. He is a hunter who has been looking for Joel and Ellie after we killed a lot of their men. Ellie manages to get out of there with the meds but the betrayal goes further because they track Ellie back to the town Joel is in. Ellie gives him the medicine but he is still unconscious when the hunters show up so Ellie decides to draw them out of town. The plan works but unfortunately not for our horse. I again put my bow and arrow skills to the test as I take out the hunters one by one without being spotted. Things go well for me too until the last second when I am about the escape and David shows up and grabs Ellie and chokes her out. She wakes up in a cell seeing the hunters cutting up human meat for food. Ellie is her normal badass self for the situation but it might have put her in a bad situation. Joel finally wakes up and we regain control of him but we gotta hurry to make sure nothing happens to Ellie!
The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. 20 years after a pandemic has radically changed known civilization, cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature, infected humans run wild and survivors are killing each other for food, weapons; whatever they can get their hands on. Joel, a violent survivor, is hired to smuggle a 14 year-old girl, Ellie, out of an oppressive military quarantine zone, but what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal journey across the U.S.
