Okay! So here's the Space Engine video I was talking about. I hope youtube compression doesn't hurt this one too badly cause youtube does not like dark colors.

Really impressive stuff here. I'd say Space Engine feels like kind of a best case scenario for the local dimming, compared to some other games. Still impressive generally and the local dimming is nice.

TTL is a pain in the ass for dark shots and distant objects though. Also the poly lenses don't see quite as good for TTL.
