Tales From the Borderlands is the fourth installment of the Borderlands series, which unlike the first three (made by Gearbox Software) was made by Telltale Games and thus takes on a more storytelling gameplay.

Tales From the Borderlands takes place after the events of Borderlands 2 (the second game but last in the storyline), picking up where the story left off following the death of Handsome Jack, the leader of the corrupt Hyperion corporation.

Having made it down to the surface of Pandora, Rhys and Vaughn drove into the town Prosperity Junction, where the deal for the vault keywas going to go down, however failing to locate the World of Curiosities they were forced to ask the locals for help, which at the glimpse of Rhys' Hyperion jacket quickly came to a gun fight, forcing them to call in a loader bot to back them up.
Nearly losing both his own life and that of his friend Rhys and Vaughn narrowly managed to escape into the meeting place with the aid of the loader bot who was badly damaged in the process, but who managed to retreat out of harms way at Rhys' command.
