Tales From the Borderlands is the fourth installment of the Borderlands series, which unlike the first three (made by Gearbox Software) was made by Telltale Games and thus takes on a more storytelling gameplay.

Tales From the Borderlands takes place after the events of Borderlands 2 (the second game but last in the storyline), picking up where the story left off following the death of Handsome Jack, the leader of the corrupt Hyperion corporation.

Doing what a con artist does best, Fiona worked together with her sister Sasha to fool August into working as a fence, selling the fake vault key to hyperion. Everything went well right until Sasha noticed Rhys' echo eye, which in seconds would have revealed the key to be fake.
Forced to improvise Fiona snuck in with a mild EMP charge, getting Sasha's help to plant it in order to take out the pesky eye before Rhys would have a chance to scan the key, but that is when things went wrong. Setting off the charge while Rhys was holding the key in his mechnaical arm made him drop it, causing it to shatter and be instantly revealed as a fake, but to make matters worse Bossanova, a dubstep blasting bandit boss crashed the party in the middle of everything and stole the money, forcing Rhys, Vaughn, Fiona, Sasha and Felix to retreat together in the chaos that ensued.
