The game opens up with Kyle Dunamis and his friends running from Owl (not Egg) Bears after wanting from adventure. They are saved by Kyle's basically-older-brother Loni, and go back to the town of Cresta. There, Rutee Katrea, Kyle's mom, disciplines him on going outside of the town like any mom would. The following day, Loni invites Kyle to join him in investigating a giant Lens that is said to be worth 3 million gald, and the two head off to Laguna Ruins. There they run into this guy.

I won't say Buer is hard, cause it's not, but I can't help but feel anxious every time I fight a boss in this game. I grinded a bit in th dungeon before hand since I struggled so much in the first playthrough of the game. Kyle is easily able to keep this thing at bay with Chirihajin and Souhajin, though spells like Flame Drive and Wind Slash do more damage. Having Loni's Heal on shortcut helps, though fortunately Tales of Destiny 2 has some of the smartest ally AI in the series, so you don't have to worry too much.
