After Kyle and Loni encounter the mysterious girl, they are approached by members of the Church of Atomoni (which Loni works for). Accused of stealing the giant lens, they are knocked out and thrown in jail in the now dilapidated capital of Darilshade. In jail they find a guy just hangin' around, and after some convinving, Kyle names him Judas and he breaks all three of them free. Using secret passageways from when the Oberon Corporation was alive, they venture through sewers(?) until they run into this boss.

The Vassago had me on edge the entire time. While his Aqua Breath isn't too much of a threat (even though it loves to SPAM it), the biggest battle shifting moment was when it used Splash. On this mode its able to kill fairly easily, but luckily everyone had enough health. Getting Judas to use Stone Zapper and Loni to heal is the main focus of survival.
