Tales of Destiny is the second game in the popular "Tales of" series (the first being Tales of Phantasia, which was first released incredibly for the Super Famicom) and the first game in the series to be released outside of Japan. It features a few nice movies by famed studio Production I.G and is noted for its realtime battles and diverse gameplay (which even supports multiplayer), easy to follow story, and its colorful cast of characters. It was developed by Wolfteam.

In this game, you play as a country-boy adventurer known as Stahn Aileron who gets caught up in the aftermath of an ancient war that was once waged on the land and the future of the world is at stake due to a relic of the past war known as the "Eye of Atamoni". Along the way, he'll meet numerous friends and enemies, but most importantly, he will unite with others capable of using "Swordians", sentient weapons that once put an end to what is known as the Aeth'er Wars.
