As long as it can be, I really love this dungeon. But then again Eternia had the most consistently good/troll dungeons in the series. Seriously, dem Aifreid dungeons....

Anyway, the Guardian is one of the few "monster" bosses, not really having anything extremely deadly like the Greater Craymels/Hyades/etc. The only advantage it has is it's ridiculous speed, as it can pass you by and reach the casters without you being able to react. Even still, it does just small enough damage to not really worry about (unless you REALLY get trapped) and the battle ends up just wailing away at it. A nice break from constantly worrying about getting clipped by some cheap insta-cast doom spell. Slashes and guns vs slashes, punches, and spells.

And yes it resists lightning but Super Lightning Blade's initial thrust was too fun to pass up...though I probably should've used more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-c7bzHDeKg or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCH0F9-tpvg instead. Then AGAIN Soup Megasonic Thrust is badass.
