Up next was a slew of EX Bosses since the game gives you so many options at tackling what you want. Decided to head to the great BGM'd Glimmer Spire and tackle Valkyrie.

Without the Derris Emblem to boost accuracy, I found it best to play the ranged game. You CAN fight her with things like Spiral Attack and Megasonic Thrust, but I found it safer to Sonic Blade from afar, jump over, rinse and repeat. Her attack chains are pretty brutal since she uses a knock off Tetra Spell if you get caught by her, and will most likely infinite you in the corner. As she walks closer, where she stops determines if she will do her pillar of fire or Valkyria Strike. The former allows another Sonic Chaos to be fired off, so it payed to be a little patient when she gets close.

The pattern, while easy to get caught up in, is pretty basic. When she starts using Valkyrie Protector into Ray, she gets a lot less predictable and a bit more aggressive, but it also marks the chance to end the battle.
