So yeah. This game. I got a little interested in the game as I hopped a link from one site over to TOF's webpage - http://tof.igg.com/

The game looked a little pretty. It seemed like it might be interesting based on that small video that autoplays (ahem-annoying) every time you go to their homepage. I figured, let's give it a shot, it's free. I grabbed the downloader client and then set about getting the full game.

I created my first character after proceeding through the somewhat laughable creation screens. Would anybody REALLY want to play those pudgy little toons? An interesting thing about this game is that you don't really pick a class at the start. You start as a VERY generic player that eventually picks a base class and then either goes magic user or fighter. While you set the base at level 5, it then takes until lvl 20 to pick your specific class and then lvl 40 for the final choice.

After playing for about 10 to 15 mins, it was apparent I wasn't going to be fond of this game. The sounds are a pure retread from other games and nearly 90% of this game sounds like WoW. I specifically highlight these sounds in the video. Also, while not fully turned up, the game isn't has pretty as TOF's site. The mounts seem unique from what I've seen but I don't know anything yet about when and how you get them. I did of course see mounts and pets in the cash shop. This game is HIGHLY Asian in appearance and seemingly the playerbase too. My first night, chat was completely devoid of anything taht could be understood. The other text in this game seems just poorly done and is often hard to read especially when lots of characters have stacked up. The game gives you quests and exp based on how long you stay on. Yes folks, you complete quests based on staying online for 5 seconds, 15, 30, etc. So, they are paying you to play slightly. Just another sign the game isn't so hot. I also found caster botters on the first night and pugilist botters on the second night. Night #2 also including some player that was spamming chat with 2, 27 and 2f. Right clicking and picking ignore didn't help.
