A major event happened between this boss and the last. With some help from Guy, the Descender and Kanono were able to restore power to Niata Monad, awakening the physical form of Niata. For those who don't know, Niata had earlier revealed that the Kanono in this game is a human reincarnation of Pasca Kanono, the Kanono from the first game (she wasn't technically human, but a Descender). The Niata originally sowed the seeds of mana throughout the universe, thus creating new worlds, though these processes stopped since the Descender of the Niata became inactive.

Blah anyway most of that is RM1 knowledge. Chloe, Farah, and Anise overhear Kanono and Niata talking about the situation at hand, about Negative Energy, and they all end up leaving the ship. Senel, being a beast, worries about Chloe and asks for help in finding her. She's eventually found deep inside the Coral Forest, overwhelmed with grief from her life as a knight of the house of Valens (her story is almost identical to her story in Legendia). Swarmed by Negative Energy, the party arrives just in time to run into a blast from the mothership past.

It's safe to say that the bosses from here on out are fairly difficult to deal with, at least compared to the older bosses which came down to chipping away damage and guard breaking and what not.

Nega Chloe really doesn't take smack from anybody in this fight, staying difficult to stun and always on the prowl. Since some of her moves hit around her, it's really difficult to stop her once she goes off on one of her combos, and she's based on one of the few characters that you can't 100% dodge in battle. I WOULD recommend "stun-locking" her, but that isn't the easiest thing to do unless your entire party is a bunch of twin swordsman... which they CANT be considering Senel and Kanono are required.

Honestly the only thing to say about this fight is strike first, strike fast and strike hard to come out on top. She's not much easier than Dark Chloe was in Legendia, but at least there's free run and a 3D field to space yourself out if you get the chance. She's probably the most difficult of the 3 girls, though Farah might say otherwise. Annie is a beast with her Heal Rain too, the best support character in the game *thumbs up*.

After the battle, Chloe talks down her Negative self and regains her true self, and the Descender banishes it for good. It's oh so good to have her back on the team.
