My Tales of Xillia 2 playthrough contains ONLY story cutscenes, skits and bosses. In other words, I edit out ALL field/dungeon/normal battles/grind sessions out. My reason for uploading these is to showcase the game to those who are unable to own or are new the game, but yet are interested in the story. Major sidequests are an exception to this rule. It is my goal to give viewers easy access to these videos and appreciate the storylines within these games.

The Verdict:
...And this is where I say, the two Xillia's have come a resolution for me: they are now my MOST favorite Tales game in the series, next to Vesperia. I love this game. Someone get me a tissue. ;__;
I won't write a wall of text like I did for the other two, but suffice to say whoever wrote this game's story did an outstanding job. I mean just looking back at what Symphonia DotNW COULD have been, this is it right here. I just wished Symphonia hadn't gotten the watered down budget treatment.
Xillia 2...The characters were consistent, the story flowed easily, and there are certain themes to be considered. The voice acting is always a plus and I felt the English cast was strong. I have little to almost no complaints with this game, but just felt like there could have been more that made this game even better. The debt system is just a minor inconvenience. The re-used content could have been avoided completely, but suffice to say, that doesn't make me dislike the game (it was a drag, sure, but bearable). Story over Gameplay (the improved battle system made up for that). I'm so happy to see the ending credit illustrations return. I just love Unfotable's style. Just looking at this compared to Vesperia, the Tales games have come a long way and is slowly maturing. While most tracks were re-used from the first game, Motoi gave us some of the best tracks. That includes some specific boss themes, some battles, and my favorite part are the credits themes. And lastly...the writers sure know how to pack a punch to the feels.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this game! I'll be taking a break from this game and hopefully do some of the silly joke endings later, as well as the optional bosses (including the cameos). I may or may not save that for a second playthrough, since Unknown mode sounds fun!
