Dragon Quest IV was a lot of fun to play. While it goes in a different direction from the previous games, which were all connected in some way, I think it was more fun then those games.


There is a charm to this game that I really love. The decision to make this a chapter based game was a great decision. It reminds me a bit of Phantasy Star III but done much better. It's a shame the US didn't get Dragon Quest V or VI until much later.
