This is a book I wanted to like more than I did. Jane focuses more on party games, mobile games, and Facebook games. Most of her selections have to do with when the book was written (2011). A lot of her examples made sense at the time, but don't really work now.

With this being said this is a good book. I liked the first six chapters where she talks about the different types of work and compares video games to positive work because you achieve a goal and gain something from it.

He conversation of failure in video games is interesting and not something I would have thought about before.
