Here is a fifth TT-01 run video. Nothing special in this one, instead using a Core RC 15T motor in place of the HPI Firebolt that I fried in the last video.

However, the Core RC motor didn't exactly do much better. Unlike the Firebolt which was able to endure the Traxxas 2S LiPo, the Core RC motor could not.

I am also using a proper Tamiya 28T pinion gear on the motor. This are the fluorine coated pinions. The previous pinions have been Core RC branded, and I realised that the overall size of the teeth were not correct. This is why my spur gears kept getting stripped. Now the teeth mesh much more smoothly.
