Tangerine Nightmare
Level/Niveau 10: Umbreion Nils (Bonus Level/Niveau Boni)

Tangerine Nightmare is a nine-level PWAD for limit-removing source ports, created by members of the French Doom community. The WAD is most notable for the strikingly orange appearance of the levels, achieved through the use of a custom palette. Additionally, some monsters have gained new sprites to better integrate them into the medieval theme, such as the zombieman, who now sports a hooded cloak. The project was conceived by Maxime Bisiaux (Datacore), with leadership of the project later transferred to Franck Livolant (franckFRAG). The first release candidate was launched on 8 December, 2017, and the project was uploaded to the idgames archive on 16 February, 2018.

As well as fitting with the orange theme, the name of the WAD is also reference to the German electronic group Tangerine Dream.

Tangerine Nightmare est un PWAD à neuf niveaux pour les ports sources à suppression de limites, créé par des membres de la communauté French Doom. Le WAD se distingue surtout par l’apparence orangée des niveaux, obtenue grâce à l’utilisation d’une palette personnalisée. De plus, certains monstres ont acquis de nouveaux sprites pour mieux les intégrer au thème médiéval, tels que le zombieman, qui arbore désormais une cape à capuchon. Le projet a été conçu par Maxime Bisiaux (Datacore). La direction du projet a ensuite été transférée à Franck Livolant (franckFRAG). La première version candidate a été lancée le 8 décembre 2017 et le projet a été chargé dans les archives de idgames le 16 février 2018.

En plus de correspondre au thème orange, le nom du WAD fait également référence au groupe électronique allemand Tangerine Dream.
