The reason why this won't work with normal Super Scopes is that the Stitch Faces simply pass through the very weak Super Scope bullets. They need stronger projectiles to clash with, and a few Action Replay codes which modifies Samus's Charge Shot allows that to happen.

Even if you don't have Silly Melee, this is still technically doable, if you have the patience to pull out Stitches at the normal rate alongside firing Samus's Charge Shot fast enough. Other than that, it's just like the normal Black Hole, except much, much more damaging.
