Wolfenstein 3D is a first-person shooter developed by id Software and published by Apogee Software in 1992. It follows the mission of a World War II Allied spy, William "B.J." Blazkowicz, to take down Hitler's Nazi regime. Also known as Wolf3D, it is widely regarded as having helped popularize the first-person shooter genre on PC and is id's precursor to the wildly popular Doom (https://tasvideos.org/Movies-DOOM) series.
