In Mario Party 8, the RNG manipulation is a bit more intense than how the RNG is in other Mario Parties like 5, 6 and 7. 8's manipulation requires a bit more luck and skill to minimize the number of the dice block. In which you'll need to find a number for the CPUs' dice block too (usually a 1 or sometimes lower is faster since their turns will end quicker). As shown in this test TAS, it doesn't use that much RNG manipulation because I didn't pause the game as much as you're suppost to in order for me to have a more precised speed as what you would normally get in a TAS.
