In 2003 Morimoto's legendary "super mario bross3 time attack video" [sic] was released showing SMB3 beaten in 11:03. Lord Tom, Maru and Tompa manage it in 10:24 as presented by TiKevin83 at AGDQ 2020 with commentary by TheHaxor and Jabem plus Raelcun as host.

For AGDQ 2020, I (dwangoAC) gave TiKevin83 his chance to shine and he did not disappoint. I performed only the intro and outro with everything else handled fully by TiKevin83 who performed initial content selection, identified commentators, and in general ran the TAS content at AGDQ 2020.

This run of SMB3 shows the game being beaten with warps but without resorting to ACE techniques. This could be considered a no major glitches category but the reality is that pretty much everything else is still on the table including bizarre wallclips and insane precision. Seeing as the game end glitch category is less than half a second long it's appropriate to avoid that for the sake of entertainment.
