Tata Motors Q4FY22 Print Once Again Disappoints With A Loss In Bottomline | ET Now
9Tata Motors in Q4FY22 reported In-line set of numbers when it comes to Revenue, EBITDA and Margin but the company once again report loss over 1000Cr versus ET now Expectation of a Profit figure this time. While the Margins Improve QoQ across segments but near-term Outlook looks challenging as per the management. In their JLR Division ,Co recorded an Exceptional charge of £43m in the fourth quarter relating to our business in Russia which has been paused for now. They add ,China Covid lockdown expected to limit volume improvements in Q1 possibly resulting in negative EBIT and negative free cash flows in the quarter. Volumes are expected to improve progressively thereafter, and we target achieving a 5% EBIT margin and £1bn+ positive free cash flow in FY23 for the full year. Co also targets for improving EBIT margins to 10% or more by FY26 and improving cash flow to achieve near zero net debt in FY24. In there other divisions the margins have improved and demand outlook is strong but in near term Inflation is a another challenge which is expected to remain at an elevated level for now.
