Global Markets In Recovery Mode, Dollar Index Continues To Climb | Latest News | ET Now
9US indices were largely lower at the start of the day but made a strong recovery with the Nasdaq closing with a positive bias. US stock futures have actually moved in the green. European markets which rallied on Wednesday actually saw cuts on Thursday. The Asian markets are positive and the SGX Nifty is sitting quietly in the green as well in what seems to be positive cues for Indian markets. On the commodities side oil continues to rise and gold continues to be under pressure. Traders rotated into bonds for safety and US bond yields came under pressure. The dollar index though, continues to move from strength to strength.
