Yes, it's ANOTHER new (old) system, the nigh-legendary PC engine! Wanted one for decades, ever since Julian Rignall started going on about them in C&VG and I decided this year was going to be the year I finally got one, before I get hit by a bus or something.
And what better game to start with than the also-nigh-legendary shooter Truxton? Or rather, Tatsujin, in this case.

And no, this doesn't mean I'm going to be collecting hu-cards, or getting the (apparently ridiculously fragile) CD expansion, I really don't have the room for many more games so I'll limit my media collecting to mainly C64/Spectrum. I have a Turbo Everdrive for this and it'll do me just fine :)
