Team Sonic Racing Playthrough 4: Lost Palace Competition
1It is time for the Elimination Round, but with Vector and his team of not even Chaotix Detective Agency members, I still find it surprising that he is on the same team as Silver and Blaze, but at least I will unlock them after completing this chapter.

Much like Chapter 1, there is a Survival Race on Lost Palace, and because Team Vector are part of the race, the last two racers will be eliminated if they are behind and cross the finish line. I do also like how Knuckles asks Vector why the Chaotix Detective Agency aren't in the race, since they first appeared in the game Knuckles Chaotix back in 1995, alongside Mighty the Armadillo, a character that SEGA forgets about, other than Sonic Mania. The Chaotix didn't make another appearance until Sonic Heroes, and Espio did appear in Sonic the Fighters in 1996.
After the elimination round, Team Vector will be unlocked for the Team Adventure Mode, and I give them a test in a Team Race on Sand Road, which is part of Sandopolis from Sonic & Knuckles, and this gives Technique characters like Silver a good test, as he can drive through the sand without any difficulty.
After that is the Ring Challenge on Ocean View, which is quite a tough challenge, but then again it isn't too difficult, as Technique characters are your best shot for taking on the Ring Challenge, and you have to accrue 30 seconds of additional time to get the key for that level.
Then there is one of my least favourite challenges in the game, Traffic Attack, it is on Whale Lagoon and you have to avoid traffic and drive through the gates to earn extra time and score some points. Chapter 2 does have some challenge to the game.
