12After some failed off-camera runs and an attempt to clean up my gameplay, it's time to get back on the wagon and try to escape Darkest Dungeon 2 once again. The Hellion is here with us, but in doing so this is a bleak reminder that she is not a main tank -- at least not with the current characters available. Also, apparently even minor injuries can have major consequences in combat. That doesn't look nearly as controversial typing it out as it was in my mind. Still, the goal is clear: master the affinity system and try to get my group of four to just get along.
Darkest Dungeon 2 is the long awaited followed up to one of the greatest games ever made and a game I put a lot of time into previously on the channel. And yet Red Hook has elected to be bold and not just take the same formula and slap a 2 on it. Instead, your heroes must now escape from the estate with the last spark of hope and traverse the fallen world in search of -- something? A solution. A goal? A wisp of a dream. For now, the only way out is through, and the path is riddled with dangers and terrors.
