If you ever wanted to clone a working windows installation for use on a new pc, you can do it with Acronis Universal Restore Plus Pack. This video however is not about that. If you were to clone a single disk windows installation onto a Raid array, (a stripe in this video) you will find windows will crash with a blue screen. However using the same technology you can use the universal restore feature to restore your windows image from a single disk, to a raid array, (a stripe in this video). In this way windows will restore with default windows drivers, the type that windows starts with when you do a fresh installation. This makes for a great way to migrate to a new PC or to change your windows drive into a blazing fast stripe set Raid Zero.
