Chapter 8: Cold Reception

Chapter starts at 7:00 and then at 14:09
Now that we have Mozu joining us, we’re continuing through the Conquest story. We begin Chapter 8: Cold Reception.
The Nohrian crew head up to the village of the Ice Tribe. Sadly a snowstorm only makes things harder for us to trek. Kilma spots Corrin unconscious and takes her and Silas in his kingdom. Things get comfortable until the others show up and the truth’s out. Kilma orders his daughter Flora to sound the alarm and we’re in to fight.
Our objective is to take down Kilma. Easy right? Wrong because you have a second objective and that’s to visit at least three villages to prevent the spread of reinforcements. It’s a reason why I gave Elise two Boots right? To boost her movement so she can use her Freeze staff to shut down an incoming unit. Split your forces into two groups: one heading west and the other going north. Have the north group take out enemies while visiting villages while the west group can deal with the enemy ninjas.
When Turn 2 starts, two new allies join the group and they are both Leo’s retainers. The first is Odin… Odin Dark. He’s a Dark Mage and can use many spells including dark mage exclusive spells like Nosferatu. Alongside Odin is Niles, a one-eyed Outlaw armed with a bow and a strange personality. Those two will be helpful in taking out the Ninja units that will approach them. Pair up if necessary to boost your defenses so you can deliver the pain. Be wary since Flora’s there and she’s got a Freeze staff. She’ll use it to stop you in your tracks and lower your evasion. Use someone as a decoy to force her to waste the Freeze staff. After that then let her have it. Make sure you take out the remaining units and once the boss is remained, focus on him and it’ll be over.
If you reach 3 villages before the enemies do, you’ll get 10,000 gold. That’s needed to help you get supplies so take advantage of this.
