This is a playthrough using an unused moveset in the Arcade version of Tekken 3. Read on below for more information...

This is an unused moveset that remains in the code of this version of the game, which means that the "character"/moveset is non-selectable.

===== ABOUT MOVESETS IN TEKKEN 3 =====

In Tekken 3, the character models and moveset data are separate aspects, which means that you can take an existing moveset and apply it to a character model who isn't the designated user of the moveset. So for example, you can have Xiaoyu with Heihachi's moves and vice-versa. The audio/voices/sounds of the character model is retained as well of course.

===== ABOUT THE UNUSED MOVESET =====

In the game's code, it turns out that there is an unused moveset that can be accessed by third party methods... and upon first glance the moveset appears to be just an "unfinished" version of Jin's one, but the "identifier" of it is the RP + RK throw, which is the Hip Throw which Kazuya uses. (Jin's RP + RK throw is different, and no-one else in the game uses it)

The theory now is that this may be an indicator that Kazuya was planned to be included into Tekken 3, with them "working" on his moveset before deciding to omit him from the game. Basically they may have done this by "copying" and "pasting" Jin's moveset data into the slot, and began removing any "non-Kazuya" moves from it.

The above second paragraph of this section is kind of evidenced by the fact that there are glitched/unfinished elements within this moveset, some of which are the "non-Kazuya" moves that completely fail to work. However, there are also some contradictions as well. You can read for yourself below.

===== TECHNICAL INFORMATION =====

As mentioned above, there are glitched/unfinished elements within this moveset, from my findings as follows:

---- The Stonehead throw does not work.

---- The Spinning Demon/Hell Sweeps only perform one kick sweep.

---- The double Tsunami/Axe Kick (DF + RK, RK) doesn't work, the animation cuts out when the button is pressed for the would-be Heel Drop.

---- In the Ultimate Tackle, the arm lock does not work.

---- The overhead punch of the double punch (DF + LP~RP) does not work, the animation just cuts out.

---- The backfist combos does not work.

---- The Offensive Block doesn't work.

---- The Reversals do not work.

---- At least one of his 10-hit strings does not work.

---- The rising uppercut normal (RP whilst rising from crouch) animation cuts out if connected/blocked.

---- Combo strings starting with LK doesn't seem to work.
