In Tekken 8 all the low attack which used to give a full launch in previous games have been nerfed since they give instant screw on hit in this game. Kazuya's d+1+2 is an exception to this universal nerf since it still gives a full combo on counter hit. Also considering the fact that this move is only -14 on block, and the reward on hit is much bigger than the risk, this move is not a bad choice at all.

In this video I have tried to explain how Kazuya's d+1+2 might be the best low attack in the game. It is up to the viewers to decide if I am right in my opinion or not.
