Today’s video is going to be a bit different than others. Today I will outline my belief in the ten areas of self-improvement. I will also detail how I will tailor my content toward this categorization. Let’s begin!

To summarize the general concept of the channel, it is to watch someone grow up and develop through the years by following different methods of self-improvement. I do that to encourage others to do the same and follow along. It’s why I have a yearly update video on my salary or my hopeful weight loss journey. I also display how my relationship with my girlfriend, turned fiancé is now wife, has developed years. I was someone who was in a dark place. Some would say borderline Incel if that term existed back then. However, I grew through this thinking with websites such as the Art of Manliness or Youtubers such as Alpha M. While they gave advice, there wasn’t anything like watching someone evolve through the years, so I set myself up to be the example. These videos, while reviews of different stuff, also serve as a reminder to never stop growing and never stop improving.

Today I will develop a guide to what I consider to be the areas of self-improvement. By outlining this, I hope you can develop toolsets to follow along and remind me of areas where I can grow and develop videos. Afterward, I want you guys to follow along by writing down how this area relates to you. Rank how you are, and talk about how you can improve in this area of the self. I believe there are ten areas in this field that I will now outline.

The first second of self-improvement is External Relationships. These are your relationships with your friends, family, and significant other. These domains do not have to be equal. If you have a bad family relationship, it should be made up with stronger bonds with friends. However, what’s important here is that these bonds exist within these domains. We, humans, are social creatures, and we need to develop these ties. For videos I’ve done that strengthen these bonds, check out “My Girlfriend and I Do the Mouth Trap Challenge” or “My girlfriend and I play Truth or Drink” series. I can strengthen these relationships by having videos focused on my parents or doing more social-based challenges.

The second area of Self-improvement is your Internal-Relationship. That is the relationship you have with yourself. For example, while external factors apply, your self-esteem and self-confidence are largely based on your views of yourself. As someone diagnosed with ASD, or Asperger’s, as it was once known, I have a negative view of myself. That negative view affects what I can accomplish due to that label and the limitations I’ve placed on myself. This is an area that I hope to cover more through challenges that raise my self-confidence.

Thirdly, we have Finance. As the saying goes, “Money makes the world go round.” Without money, you won’t be able to provide yourself with the basic necessities. Even past that point, not having money and a good relationship with it will affect what you can do with these areas of self-improvement. I personally have a great relationship with money. I earn a decent enough living, and many of my goals and focuses are on obtaining it for retirement age. The Fourth area of Self-improvement is the second form of wealth, health. Health is a combination of exercise, nutrition, and sleep. Health is one of the more vital pillars, as, without good health, you could shorten your life span and ruin your motivation. I am a nearly three-hundred-pound man who constantly gets horrible sleep. Health is an area that I am desperately trying to improve. Check out my Fitness Games Reviews series for videos on this content. I hope to improve this area through my videos by having content focused more on the nutritional side of things.

The fifth area of Self-Improvement is presentation. How you look, what you do, and how the world looks at you are all components of your presentation. While yes, finances and health do affect this area, it is also separate. This is an example of learning about style, washing yourself to smell good, and working on your career to focus on a better title. It sounds shallow, but the world judges you on how you look. Understanding who you are and expressing it in your presentation is key. A strong internal relationship with yourself is suggested before focusing on this area. I am severely lacking as someone who doesn’t know much about this area. I hope to improve this way over the years as I improve my health and self-improvement.
