Tenkaichi 4 is not an official release, but rather a comprehensive mod of Tenkaichi 3. The project seeks to update and remake the Spike company's Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 game with new content from Dragon Ball between 2007 to 2018, while being as accurate to what the original developers were attempting to achieve.

This mod's core team consists of seven people. We have PxGamer who is the Story Mode creator. Hiro Tex is the Director of Planning, ApioMan is the Lead 3D Modeler, and BenZ is a 3D Modeler. Hunter the moveset creator. And both JeanPaul007 and Artworks Drawings as Graphic designers.

With their combined efforts they have created this mod for us to enjoy. Being a modification of the original, the game is internally designed to be played on a Playstation 2. Using either official hardware or an emulator. There is also a version for those who want to emulate it on their PS3 or PS4.
