Although Sly 1 was a bit overshadowed by the other big 2 playstation platformers released around the same time. Sly was very well received by those who played it. With its fantastic sense of style, fluid gameplay and intriguing characters it was exciting to see where its sequel would take it.

Sly 2: Band of Thieves was released on the playstation 2 in 2004. In 2010 it was re-released as part of the HD collection on ps3 and vita. Which was developed by Sanzaru games. This is the version we will be playing through in this retrospective, for the reason that I explained in my Sly 1 video.
