10A new version of Terra Flame dropped, which completely overhauls the game, revised graphics and balancing.
It also affects all of the scores before the update, since you won't get the almost 3M scores anymore and would be best to reset the leaderboards to take the new changes into account.
This new version will probably be a basis for the Switch port.
Changes:
The Thunder Force-like map screen before levels is gone, so is the text at the bottom of the screen telling you which difficulty you are playing.
The "Go Next", where the screen would go up or down is also gone.
Low Earth Orbit's background details with battleships, more space colonies and debris from the destruction are gone.
Low Earth Orbit's boss is now without the missile attack, it also doesn't close itself anymore, making it super easy to beat.
Solar Wind's flame orbs are no longer chainable.
Moon's Surface doesn't have craters in the background anymore.
Space Colony's boss doesn't destroy the colony with the initial laser shower anymore.
Asteroid Belt had big laser enemies, their shots have now been changed to 6 ring shots.
Asteroid Belt now has 4 Defenders instead of 3, even 3 was too many Defenders.
Passageway now has icons for the speed sections to show you what's coming up next.
The ship and pilot illustrations in the credits are gone.
