In this video, I'm doing a 1 Credit Challenge of a game that I also have played, during my MAME Arcade Stream: Shmup Edition, same as in the previous 1 Credit Challenge video: X Multiply. That game is: Terra Force for the Arcade. This game was developed and published by Nichibutsu, it was only released for the arcade in 1987. Terra Force was found on modern consoles as part of Arcade Archives for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Terra Force is a shoot 'em up game. Terra Force is the fourth title in a sci-fi series, which began in 1980 with Moon Cresta. Once again the player controls a spaceship with the task of saving the Earth from an alien invasion. Characteristic of Terra Force is the alternation of scrolling, now vertical and now horizontal. Furthermore, the game ends when the eight levels on which it develops are completed, unlike the previous titles (where there was a continuous repetition of scenarios with increasing difficulty). There are six bosses in the game, but the player can also avoid facing them - minus the last one - if he follows certain paths. There are three lives available. About my run on Terra Force: The game is just as difficult as the other game: Terra Cresta, which is also made by Nichibutsu. At least I beat the standard high score: 101000, which kinda surprised me with the end score I achieved in this game. Overall, Terra Force is a fun shooter, but it's also bloody hard, especially switching from horizontal to vertical whatever path you go. It's still a good game, that's all I have to say. I hope you enjoy this 1 Credit Challenge video of Terra Force for the Arcade and thanks for watching!
