Terranigma - Part 5 "Cavern"
7Info: After finishing the 5th and final tower, we head back to Crysta and talk to elder. Afterwards we make are way to the upper world and officially begin Chapter 2. Before jumping in the hole, you should make sure well stocked on items as there is no return nor are there any item shops until you've completed the cavern. In my case I think I over stocked on healing items but it's better safe then sorry. From here on out the dungeons are noticeably longer and more difficult.
The cavern is the first area of Chapter 2 and can be quite tough starting out. The enemies are a step up from enemies we've faced in the towers and also take more. The main enemy to worry about are the pinkish plants as they can poison you which isn't the most pleasant thing to deal with. (Poisons pretty bad in this game.) I don't think poison wears off unless it's healed (At least it wasn't for me during one of my runs.) Other then that, this area isn't too bad but It can kind of be confusing to proceed through, at least for me since a lot of the areas look the same. Thankfully I didn't really get lost much during my the recording. Before you can fight the boss, you'll need to fine an item called Ra Dewdrop which will help you resist the bosses poison gas it performs at the beginning. In order to reach the area the item is in, you need to find an item called Giant Leaves that allows you to swim in which I find in this episode.
