Terraria - Achievement Hunting Review
4Terraria is a game that needs no introduction, being one of the highest rated games on steam, and easily one of the best sandbox games to boot, but how good is it to 100%? Well with exactly 115 achievements to complete, some of them tedious at best, it is easy to see this game as a daunting task that won't provide much reward due to its popularity. This can not be farther from the truth, with one of my highest rated achievements being “and good riddance” its safe to say if you want a really rare achievement and have some fun along the way this is the game for it.
However this game definitely has downsides, with it being played best with friends or a whole server or people, it makes specific achievement hunting hard to obtain with all the… distractions around, that's why i would recommend after you have completed the game starting a new world or playing solo with your character to focus on getting some quick and easy achievement (but there is nothing quick or easy about the angler quests.
Overall this is a very mixed bag, with some achievements making you want to see what other secrets you can find in this fantastic game, and others wanting you to try your eyes out with a homemade shiv.
