After two hours of playing the game without a clue what I should do, I am hooked on gathering, crafting, and surviving. But I heard something else about Terraria and Minecraft all those years. Both are creative sandboxes, which is fascinating and what makes them unique. They were released in 2011, and they are still around, supported, and updated. One is milked by corpos, and the other is nourished by its creators. Both are loved by the community. Yeah, I know I made a discovery of a millennium. But my emotions are genuine. The same goes for my noobish, blind one-hour playthrough.

2:04 - The cute green blob approaches.
5:39 - Chopping wood and surviving.
7:43 - The first workbench.
9:55 - Night is coming.
11:34 - Zombies, zombies, zombies.
14:16 - Placing a campfire feels like an outstanding achievement.
15:53 - Of course, I died. And I will die more.
20:44 - First night survived. What now?
21:49 - Craft a wooden hammer. Still don't know what I am doing.
28:54 - So if I place those wooden walls on wooden platforms, no, it's not working as I thought. Sigh.
