Hey guys welcome back. We'll continue our Xbox 360 series with a gameplay and performance test of Max Payne 3. Now the game marks a sharp departure in tone and style that defined the first two Max Payne games. With this Rockstar wanted to start a new chapter in Max Payne's life who now works as a security contractor in Sao Paulo Brazil.
This change in the overall tone of the game seemed to be well received by the players judging by the vastly positive reviews and the 3 million game copies sold in the first week after launch.
Performance wise, Max Payne 3 runs at unlocked frame rate on the Xbox 360 meaning it can hit peak values of 35FPS.
We also get HD resolution 1280 by 720p with almost no screen tear, the image quality and details remains sharp and vivid with plenty of contrast thanks to the newer method of post processing.
