Over the past few months Forces News has been following the progress of a prospective military chaplain.

After much soul-searching, Reverend Matt Coles decided he wanted to become an Army minister with the Coldstream Guards.

To become a fully-fledged padre, he has to complete the Officers' Course at Sandhurst. Forces News cameras joined him on a particularly gruelling day.
